Capela de São Vicente

Located at the mouth of Ribeira de São Vicente, this chapel was built on a small basaltic rock in the third quarter of the 17th century thanks to the donations of devout people and to the determination of Inácio Sousa.

This shrine is said to have been built at the very spot where Saint Vincent, martyr and patron saint of the parish church, appeared.
