Jardim Panorâmico

Area: 5,400 square metres

This recently-built public garden opened in April 2005 and is located between the Passeio Público Marítimo (seafront promenade) and Estrada Monumental. The view over the Gorgulho islet and the ocean is splendid.

It is mostly used for leisure and recreational purposes, but the big «azulejo» panels and walls made of basaltic stone, as well as some native seashore species, are worth a visit.
