Chestnut Festival
October 31st and November1st
Every year this festivity attracts hundreds of visitors that on this day go to the attractive village of Curral das Freiras to take part in this festivity. The Chestnut Festival is organised by the Casa do Povo of Curral das Freiras providing a unique opportunity to taste some of the local delicacies confectioned with chestnut, such as the chestnut soup and liqueur.
